Meet The Team

The Arundell family now boasts over 30 team members, from vets and nurses to receptionists and stock managers, all of whom are passionate about caring for the pets and people of Doncaster.

 Stephen, BVSc (Hons) MRCVS

Clinical Director 

Steve is the co-founder and clinical director of Arundell. His professional interests include accident and emergency work, and orthopaedics. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his expanding family, but is still a teenager at heart and enjoys nothing more than an hour on his Playstation!


Veterinary Surgeon

Luka has been working for Arundell since 2019, after graduating from the University of Croatia in 2017 and moving to the UK with his family. His special interests are surgery and imaging. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, playing basketball and discovering the British countryside with his family.

Veterinary Surgeon

Nika graduated from veterinary college

at the University of Zagreb in 2017, winning an award for excellence in 2015. In 2015 and 2016 she completed a student internship in an equine clinic in Ireland She is particularly interested in diagnostic imaging. In her free time, she enjoys horse riding and spending time with her cat Tiki.


Head Nurse

Kay started with Arundell in 2013 as a nurse, and was promoted to head nurse in 2018, as which she is mainly based at the Toll Bar surgery. Outside of work she enjoys spending time cycling and walking with her two young boys, who take up most of her time! She has a 17-year-old cat called Maggie and a new tortoise called Trevor.

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Sue has been working in the veterinary industry for over 30 years and became

a qualified veterinary nurse in 2014.

She has a keen interest in nutrition and weight clinics and holds a certificate in canine and feline veterinary health nutrition. She has two rescue dogs and two rescue cats. Her spare time is spent with her husband and two grown-up children enjoying family time.


Student Veterinary Nurse

Gabrielle started working at Arundell in 2017 as a receptionist, progressed to an animal nursing assistant and then onto a student veterinary nurse course, which she started in 2019. Outside of work she spends a lot of studying for her nursing course, and spends time with family and friends socialising.


Student Veterinary Nurse

Kelsey started studying veterinary nursing in September 2018, joined Arundell in 2019 and hopes to qualify in 2020. She has a keen interest in animal breeding and reproduction, and enjoys surgery. She likes to take her pack of dogs walking and country pursuits with her partner. In 2016 she visited South Africa, carrying out various types of conservation work, and hopes to return soon.


Animal Nursing Assistant

Claire has worked at Arundell’s since 2018 as an animal nursing assistant, caring for patients as they recover from surgery and also some work on reception. She graduated from the University of Leeds in 2016 with a BSc in zoology and has had various jobs since, including as a zookeeper. At home she has an 8-month-old tabby called Roland, and is a leader with the Girl Guides.


Animal Nursing Assistant

Caitlin has been working at Arundell

since 2019 as an animal nursing assistant. She is looking forward to progressing to a student veterinary nurse in the future. Outside of work she is a fosterer for the Cats Protection and enjoys spending time with family and socialising.


Head Receptionist

Angela has worked at Arundell since 2016, after previously working in healthcare for 16 years. She holds a level two NVQ business and administration certificate which she completed in 2016. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, including dogs Bella and Hope, a tortoise called Betty and lots of fish.



Carole has been with Arundell since 2013 as a receptionist. At home, she has three dogs and a bearded dragon. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, socialising and talking – a lot!



Christine has worked in the veterinary industry for over three decades. She currently works a few hours a week on reception. Her interests are sewing, spending time with friends, holidays and walking rescue dog Benji, who she brought home from a holiday in Corfu.



Toni has worked as a receptionist with Arundell since 2015. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her three children, family and friends, including two dogs, two tortoises and two fish.


Stock Champion

Marie has been with Arundell since 2006, started as an animal nursing assistant alongside Stephen and Natalie, when the practice was founded. She became a qualified groomer and then progressed to being stock champion for both surgeries. She has dogs which she enjoys taking on walks, as well as swimming and socialising with friends.

Natalie co-founded Arundell in 2006 at

Toll Bar, while also completing a BA (Hons) in social science and politics. She now manages a team of 35. Outside of work she enjoys walking, gardening and spending time with family and friends, including two children, a new grandson and various pets including two donkeys,

a pony, dogs, cats and chickens.


Practice manager

Rhiannon, BVSc MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Rhiannon graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2009 and joined the practice in May 2018. She recently returned from maternity leave following the birth of her daughter, and is enjoying the challenge of combining vetting with parenting. Her interests include dermatology and feline medicine, and outside of work she enjoys walking, cycling and cuddling her cat, Jeremy.

Stephen P, BVM&S MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Stephen joined Arundell in 2015, starting as a locum vet before taking a permanent position.  He qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1984 in Scotland. Outside of work he enjoys electronics, listening to music, reading and going for walks with his puppy Digit.

Kimberley, RVN

Head Nurse

Kimberley started at Arundell when as a 16-year-old student veterinary nurse. She qualified in December 2013 and has been here ever since, except for a gap year in 2017 spent locuming around the country for further experience. She has two dogs, a female boxer called Roxy and a male beagle called Paddy.


Registered Veterinary Nurse

Kerry graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in July 2017, gaining

a foundation degree in veterinary nursing, after which she joined Arundell. Shortly after, she became a clinical coach. Kerry enjoys all aspects of nursing and hopes to further her education in the future.


Student Veterinary Nurse

Joanne started working at Arundell in 2017, originally as an animal nursing assistant. She has completed a BSc in zoology at Leeds University – and two seasons working at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. She has two dogs and enjoys

taking them for walks.


Student Veterinary Nurse

Penny has passed her animal nursing assistant diploma with Arundell, and is currently working towards achieving a veterinary nurse diploma. She has a keen interest in animal surgery and behaviour. She has an amazing son, partner and kitten and loves to spend any spare time with them on her allotment.


Animal Nursing Assistant

Lisa has been with Arundell since 2019, and is looking forward to the future and becoming a veterinary nurse. She has a love and passion for horses, which she has worked with for years. She has four dogs and one husband. Outside of work she enjoy spending time with her little furry family and reading.

Head Receptionist

Claire qualified in 1991 as a human nurse but left the profession when she started a family. In 2010, she joined brother Stephen and sister-in-law Natalie at Arundell. Claire spent three years as an animal nursing assistant, gaining good knowledge of the industry, before returning to receptionist work after missing human contact! She has three very different cats and two grown-up children, who all keep her busy!



Leah started working as a receptionist at Arundell in 2019 and enjoys getting to know all of the clients and their pets – especially the cats, as she is a cat owner herself.



Abigail joined Arundell in 2017, working as a receptionist on Saturdays at the Toll Bar surgery, and at the Bennetthorpe surgery in school holidays. When she leaves school, she would like to be a veterinary nurse.



Charlotte has worked in the veterinary profession since 2012, and joined Arundell four years later, during which time she has completed a level 2 grooming course. She has two dogs, two rabbits and enjoys going to the zoo, walking and spending time with family and friends.


Credit Controller/Insurance Coordinator


Jaime has worked in the veterinary industry since 2012 both on reception and as an animal nursing assistant. She is credit controller at Arundell and is responsible for processing insurance claims as well as working on reception. She has two dogs at home, Betty and Benji, who keep her busy, as well as a tortoise called Albert.
